January randomness

Patrick dragged out all his super heroes and trapped them under this bat.
Then The Thing saved them. Seriously - he had all his super heroes and all the villians out in the kitchen!
While we were making cookies last Friday night, he put a stamp on his cheek, then asked me to put more on him. And this is what we got.
No idea where these faces were coming from.
Patrick keeps telling me he wants to be a fireman, so we visited a fire station on Saturday and took them cookies. They let him sit in the driver's seat and wear the hat. They told us the one to visit was the one by Irons because they had the biggest truck. Guess we'll be making more cookies. . .

More Christmas pics

The JIM TYE birthday cheer. Surprise! He didn't know what hit him! We missed you, Kim!
Santa brought Patrick 12 books at my house!
As well as an art/writing easel and an Optimus Prime helmet. This was "Optimus" and the picture he drew of himself and his name spelled out.
We made reindeer peanut butter sandwiches - Blitzen and Rudolph.

First blog of 2009

A picture is worth a thousand words.
Patrick made "Buzz Lightyear wings" one night out of a cardboard box and I attached them with curly ribbon. Here is "Buzz" flying across the living room.
The "Buzz wings" backside view.
This was one Sunday at my parents' house. He literally just fell asleep right where he was, so I got him a pillow and his favorite Cheerios blanket and he took a nap between the livign room wall and the couch.
He also found my elf costume. He was hysterical acting like an elf! And yes, I wore this at work one day.
This is Patrick and his cousin Emily. What dolls! He's gotten this new "I'm surprised" smile going on these days.

This was an entry on my "The Secret" calendar towards the end of 2008, but I think it's a great message to start off 2009.
Make it a habit to bless everything. Bless and appreciate your home, each member of your family, your work colleagues, your friends, food, nature, animals, and everything that surrounds you. Bless everything in your life, and as you do you will have ignited the law of attraction into powerful action for all good to come to you. The law will respond by delivering unlimited blessings into your life through people, circumstances, and events that will have you stand in awe. Bless you!
