Is it just me?

Is it just me, or do J and Paddy look scarily alike??!! Well, other than the fact that my son has regular haircuts. (ha ha That was for Mom!)

Craft time!

I bought stone making kits for me, mom and Paddy for Mother's Day. We finally got around to making them yesterday. They are about $12 at Michael's. It was a fun family craft time for us. Selecting stones & creating teh design.
My design for the east Herb plot.
Paddy's rocket design
Doodah's design with Paddy's handprint. He wasn't so sure about putting his hand in the cement. I was kidding with him afterwards that he was lucky it didn't get stuck. (I'm so awful!)
One last picture from archeology day - P excavating.

Archeology in Action - Lubbock Lake Landmark

The Lubbock Lake Landmark hosted Archeology in Action this past weekend. Patrick has been TOTALLY into archeology thanks for Curious George. He wasn't as thrilled about the "lectures" (in his defense there were three 25-minute lectures OUTSIDE in the heat). He really enjoyed seeing an actual dig site and the activites afterwards. Me and the little archeologist.
Look, Mom! I found a bone!
A stick can be a gun. . .
. . .or a conductor's baton (thanks Looney Tunes!)
Yes, I bought this shirt specifically for this outing. I am "THAT" mom.

He's a Mess

He had already drawn "whiskers" on his face in blue marker, so I decided I'd go ahead and finish the job by writing "I'm a Mess" on his forhead. Is there a more true statement?!!!

My Pride and Joy

No matter what challenges or heartaches or shadows Life throws my way, this little man always seems to know how to make his mama smile.
I'm so proud of my little Lugnut! Is there anything cuter than a 5 year old butt in baseball pants?
P hanging out in the blow-up pool, leg kicked over the side of his chair, makin' a mess with the dippin' dots.
Messy messy boy doing some kind of Sha-na-na pose.
P's 5th P-ARGH-ty!
Our annual birthday picture with the Tech baseball coach. This was our first year with Coach Spencer. GO RAIDERS!
